Rusty the Goat

Hello! My name is Meredith Reser. I am an 8th grade FFA member at Hill-Gustat Middle School. This is my first year in FFA, and I am showing a goat named Rusty at the Highlands County Fair. Rusty is a castrated male and loves socializing with other goats. When I first got Rusty, he was one of the younger goats of the selection and a whole lot smaller. He was very scared and wouldn't even let me touch him. Gradually, he got more and more comfortable with me and has made SO much progress from the beginning.  Raising Rusty has truly been an amazing experience for my first year.

I am inviting you to come see Rusty and me at the Highlands County Fair for the Meat Goat Show and Showmanship on February 4th at 6:30 PM. The show will be held at the Livestock Arena. If you are interested in purchasing Rusty, register as a buyer at https://www.hcfair.net/jrl/  and plan on either coming to the Junior Livestock Auction on February 9th at 6:00 PM at the Livestock Pavilion or attending the online auction.
